June 5, 2022 Montgomery, Alabama : The “Show me the MONEY” Pro Late Models always put on a show at Historic Montgomery Motor Speedway and the Disturbing the PEACE 100 was not an exception.
Alabama 200 winner Hunter Robbins was the BAMA Budweiser Fast time award winner with a time of 19.568. Justin South #43 was just a breath behind Robbins at 19.584. Justin Bonnett #12b followed by only .058 at 19.626 for P3. Jake Garcia #35 and Jim Wall #91 rounded out the top 5
As the green flag fell #91 Jim Wall from Huntsville Alabama took the point and and was in command of the race as he led the opening 34 laps. The action was hot and heavy as positions were changing throughout the field. it was on lap 34 that the first caution flag flew for the #11 of JoJo Wilkinson bunching the field up for the restart. This time it was Gio Ruggerio taking the lead and it looked like he had the entire field covered till lap 74 when the #20 of Halder slowed to a stop in turn 2. This was just the break for Hunter Robbins #18 who had moved his way to the front and grabbed the lead for the last 25 laps and his second “Show me the MONEY” win of the 2022. The Hard Charger was Jeff Dawkins who moved up 8 Positions to finish in the top 10.
