June 10, 2025, MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Montgomery Motor Speedway hosted the “Rumble by the River” on Saturday, June 7th. This event featured the ASA Southern Super Series Tour, MMS’s own Show Me the Money Pro Late Models and Impact Zone Photos Outlaws.
A pair of #54s took both Bama Budweiser Fast Time Pole Awards in the Super and Pro Late Model divisions. Last year’s Rumble by the River Champion #54 Matt Craig from Mount Pleasant, NC, won the Bama Budweiser Fast Time Pole Award for the ASA Southern Super Series. Followed by Senoia, GA’s #26 Bubba Pollard and Pinellas Park, FL’s #51 Stephen Nasse. 2023 Alabama 200 Champion #54 Seth Christesen from Pendergrass, GA won the Bama Budweiser Fast Time Pole Award for the Show Me The Money Series. Followed by Pulaski, MS’s #62 Casey Roderick and Madison, AL’s #91 Jim Wall. Impact Zone Photo Outlaw saw the #92 Cameron Henderson take the pole in group qualifying, followed by #21 Jason Furrow and #33 Kyle Lowry.
The first race of the evening was the 100-lap Show Me The Money Pro Late Model feature. Due to the redraw, 4th place qualifier #2 Dylan Fetcho led the field to green with Roderick on his outside, followed by #91 Jim Wall and #24 Jade Avedisian in the 2nd row. Roderick took an immediate lead on Fetcho and Wall while the rest of the field battled for any position they could get. This was #24 Jade Avedisian’s Show Me The Money Debut, looking for her 3rd late model win in 2025. #68 Aidan Potter wrecked during qualifying and had to start in the rear, but by lap57, he was up to the 4th position. With 41 laps to go, Contact between Potter and Avedisian during a battle for 3rd, causing a 9-car pileup on the front stretch. All 9 cars were damaged, but ended the night for the #68 of Potter, the #20 of Halder, and the #54 of Christensen.
After dominating all 100 laps, last year’s ASA Southern Super Series Champion #62 Casey Roderick parks it in Front Porch Grill Victory Lane and claims the infamous Rumble by the River gloves. 4-time Pro Late Model Champion back in a late model for the first time this year, #2 Dylan Fetcho from Watertown, TN, takes 2nd place in the John Bolen car, and #5 Garrett Gumm from Borks, GA, back in Montgomery for the first time this year, rounds out the podium in 3rd.
“It feels really good to be back here in Montgomery, this track has always been good to me. I had to put up a fight there at the end, I was worried Dylan was going to get me,” Casey said in victory lane.

The second feature of the night was the Impact Zone Photos Outlaws, which was led to green by Covington, GA’s #33 Kyle Lowry, making his Montgomery Motor Speedway debut, and veteran driver Thomasville, Al’s #21 Jason Furrow on the outside pole. #92 Cameron Henderson and #96 Jared Maupin start the 40-lap feature from the 2nd row. Maupin takes the lead on lap 4 while Lowry and Furrow battle in the top 3.
After leading 36/40 laps, San Antonio’s #96 Jared Maupin parks his outlaw in Front Porch Victory Lane. #33 Kyle Lowry and #92 Cameron Henderson round out the top 3.
“We had a really good car, thanks to everyone who helped us out on this thing. We had a great crew and a car,” Maupin said in victory lane.

Finally, the ASA Southern Super Series took the track for their 125-lap feature, led by Mount Pleasant, NC’s #54 Matt Craig and Groveland, FL’s #50 Jett Noland. #51 Stephen Nasse and #33 Duston Smith follow from the 2nd row, and Craig, Smith, and Noland quickly found their pace in the top 3. After a controlled caution on lap 75, Nasse took 2nd place from Dustin Smith on lap 76, and the #50 of Noland got shuffled back to 7th on the restart. By lap 77, Simpsonville, SC’s #18 Colby Howard came from 9th place to 3rd place in the Anthony Campi Racing car. In the second half of the race, Mr. Montgomery, #112 Augie Grill, had his car flying around the top lane and was the only one who could make it work.
After qualifying on the pole, redrawing a 1, and leading all 125 laps, 5 time Super Late Model champion Matt Craig parks his #54 machine in Front Porch Victory Lane and grabs his 2nd consecutive Rumble by the River win. 2-time ASA Southern Super Series Champion #51 Stephen Nasse finishes 2nd, and part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver #18 Colby Howard rounds out the podium.
“We’ve got a really good setup here, but there’s a lot of competition here. It takes a lot to win these races, and we’re glad to be here,” Craig said in victory lane.
