April 15,2015 Montgomery, Al: Montgomery Motor Speedway hosted a test and tune session today for the “King of the Wing Sprint car series. The High horsepower 410 winged sprint car were flying around the historic half mile facility. The series will visit 5 Flags speedway this Friday night and travel to Mobile speedways high banks for a Saturday night event. Negotiations are underway with series promoter Davey Hamilton to bring the Methanol burning monsters to Montgomery Motor Speedway in 2016. Track General manager Stan Narrison Said ” This show would be like no other, These cars are light weight, winged rocket ships. When we bring them to MMS track records will fall. We are looking at a Sunday race date early in 2016. It would be perfect for these racers to have a 3 day weekend of races in the southeast.
