Montgomery, Alabama (October 7, 2026) — Following the cancellation of the October 3rd ‘Autograph Night’ event, the 2026 South Alabama Plumbing & Electric Outlaw Late Model season at Montgomery Motor Speedway has officially concluded.
After extensive talks between competitors and event organizers, MMS was not able to find a suitable date for the Outlaw Late Models to hold their makeup date. As a result, Timothy Watson (no. 28) is your 2026 Outlaw Late Model champion.
The Outlaw finale cancellation shouldn’t overshadow just how good of a season Watson had. 2026 saw Watson extend his reputation as a heavyweight at Montgomery and surrounding tracks in Outlaw competition. Watson managed to pick up four wins in six races at Alabama’s House of Speed, only finishing outside of the top five once.
Behind Watson was Spencer Bragg (no. 08), who came home in the runner-up spot in the final standings. Bragg had an excellent year himself, scoring a highest finish of second and also only finishing outside of the top five on one occasion.
Finishing third in the standings was Keeton Harris (no. 07), who also takes home Rookie of the Year honors for the Outlaw division. Charlie Williams (no. 17) ends the year in fourth place, with Cameron Henderson (no. 92) rounding out the top five in the final standings.
